We stopped here on a Sunday night and were the only ones in the place. We had great, friendly service. There wasn't much of a wine list but had plenty of beers on tap. We son had fettucini alfredo and I had lasagna. Both were GREAT. My husband had the pizza and thought it lacked cheese. The decor is very comfortable. There are some tv's to watch and a bar. Most of all, our food was VERY inexpensive. The lasagna was just $7.99! Great meal. Will stop here again when we're in the area.

It's good pizza. Not much more to say than that. Slower than normal service, but nothing horrible.

Happened upon this restaurant by chance- driving through from out of state and first time in town. What a find!! Clean, friendly, fun atmosphere. $7.00 pitcher of beer w frosted ice cold glasses- classy. Franco , owner , personally checked on our table a couple times and sent complimentary delicious authentic homemade cannoli for dessert. Server, Sierra, was really good-attentive and very sweet. The thin crust deluxe pizza was cooked perfectly and loaded with ingredients. Franco escorted us out, opened door for us and thanked us for coming. Again, this is a classy place at affordable prices with great food and service. We will be back

Great little pizza place. Service was fast and friendly. They recently added a "bar" on one side of the restaurant, and had some good beers to choose from to enjoy with fantastic pizza.

This place looks like a standard hole-in-the-wall pizza place and the menu offers the grinders, pizza, and pasta dishes you'd expect. When the food came, it was delicious and high-quality. We ordered bruschetta and caprese salad appetizers and I had lasagna. Everything was great! My aunt's homemade sausages were yummy. At one point, the owner/chef came to our table to check on us and my cousin practiced her Italian on him. Ooh, they recently got a liquor liscence so they can serve beer and wine. Also they deliver out to the boonies. I definitely need to get back soon to try the pizza.

Love, love, love the Sicilian style pizza! I add the homemade sausage. With the perfectly baked crust, fresh mozzarella cheese, thin tomato slices, artichokes, and Parmesan cheese. Yum!

Nothing special we got the deluxe with extra sauce and cheese. The sauce has no flavor at all tastes like a homemade pizza. You would make at home it was not that bad. They did have a live band that was their that was cool.

Met a friend for lunch. We both eat Gluten-free and I had heard they served a Gluten-free crust on their pizza. It was the bomb! Fabulous, fresh food. Our salad had three different lettuces and was fresh and tasty. The pizza ingredients were also fresh. The service was superb. I see lots more GF pizzas in my future even though this restaurant is over one hour from my house. Why can't more restaurants care enough to serve tasty, fresh food like Amore??

I've eaten here twice now and I have't been impressed. I stopped on the way home from Benton Harbor a few months ago and got a pizza sub. It ok. The bread wasn't bad, but the pizza sauce tastes like it right out of the can. It lacks any zest or punch. I was there a week or so ago for the buffet. It's small, but a decent price for the selection. Again, had some pizza and again wasn't impressed with the sauce. I like the Sicilian style crust, but that was all that I liked. The mac and cheese was just kinda bland for me. The salad was ok, but nothing to write home about. I'd be willing to give it one more shot and try some pasta or something else there. I'll stick with other pizza joints for now. If I want Italian food, I'll stick to Mangia Mangia or La Cantina. The parking lot is kinda small and not the easiest place to get out of.

I recently tried the supreme deluxe pizza at Amore in Paw Paw, MI. I was very pleased with the taste and my friends agreed. The pizza has loads of fresh toppings and perfect semi-thin crust. The cannoli's are quite good too.

A little secret- if you want Italian in Paw Paw, skip La Cantina and come here for REAL Italian food. It's almost a given that my girlfriend and I will come here on date night for dinner. I've been there with my girlfriend multiple times, and we know we'll never be disappointed by the food- the pizza's always been hot, fresh and delicious, and the pasta's fresh-made on premesis, same with the sauce. Not to mention, the portions are really big- you can buy a humongous pizza here for less than what you'd have to spend on a large at Pizza Hut.

This place's Italian food is boss! Probably because an actual Italian man owns it. And he's in the kitchen cooking up your food along with his employees; which just goes to show you that your food is legit Italian. None of that Pizza Hut/Little Caesar's stuff here. They have a wide selection of Italian food and hot sub sandwiches. They even have a little section with Mexican food that consists of various types of wet burritos and nachos/salsa & chips. And they have tiramisu and cannolis for dessert. I've been here a couple times with my family and we always get a pizza to split. This last time we got a custom made pizza and it was delicious. Just the way fresh, homemade pizza is supposed to taste. What more could you ask for?

Not impressed at all. We were told 45-60 minutes -it took almost 2 hours. When we called about the pizza the people there were rude. Pizza was barely warm and 1 of the 4 pizza's we ordered was over cooked. I am a manager and do understand things happen that are out of our control. Being rude to a customer is NOT acceptable .

GREAT Sicilian Pizza - get the sausage, its a specialty. The wet burrito is pretty amazing too. Prices are good for good food. They have karaoke Tuesday's and Thursday which is fun. Sports bar in one side. Typical little family pizza place on the other side. The owner is often onsite - he's a great guy. Staff is friendly, sometimes a little slow, but remember it's hard to predict the number of customers. Right across from Maple Lake so you have a great view during the day.
